Dr. Renee K. Pietzsch (pronounced PEACH) is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery® Certified in Foot Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
She is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she was several times awarded the GTE Scholar-Athlete Award while playing Volleyball for Texas A&M University and was a member of the National Honor Society. She knew as a freshman at A&M that podiatry was going to be her profession as she realized she could combine her desire to help others of all ages and her love of sports medicine and surgery all in one profession. After graduating from Texas A&M University she attended the acclaimed California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA, graduating with honors and was a recipient of the Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities award.
She completed her surgical residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA. After residency, she completed a Fellowship in Diabetic Limb Salvage at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Upon completing her Fellowship training, she returned to Central Texas where she resides with her Firefighter husband and two children.
