Dr. Binh Ta is Board Certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is an Associate Member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
He is a graduate of University of California at Davis where he studied Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. During his time at UC Davis he became developed a passion for the outdoors, whether it be rock-climbing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, mountain biking or fishing. It was after Dr. Ta sustained an ankle fracture from a rock-climbing adventure that he decided to pursue a career where he could help others walk pain-free.
After his completion of undergraduate studies at UC Davis, Dr. Ta attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merrit University in Oakland, California, where he earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. He then moved to Ohio to complete a three-year residency at Alliance Community Hospital and became proficient in utilizing Hyprocure implants along with other techniques to help treat pediatric and adult flat-foot issues.
Dr. Ta now resides in Austin. In his free time, he can be found climbing at the Greenbelt climbing walls, mountain biking along Barton creek, or kayak fishing on the surrounding rivers and lakes with his fiancé and two fur babies, a rescued lab-mix and a Rottweiler.
